GITANE DEMONE

Gitane Demone is an American singer/songwriter with 58 official album releases which include solo, bands and collaborations.

She first performed live in 1980 with art rock band Pompeii 99 (Mark Doten, also of Loteria!, bandmate). Gitane’s music background also includes deathrock, experimental, punk and jazz.

She is currently involved in releasing an avant garde opera, an orchestral project with Paul Roessler, and Gitane Demone Quartet.
