
David O. Jones
Entered into the Los Angeles music scene with his band Magnolia Thunderpussy in 1984- 86, playing the Anti-Club, backyard parties, and outdoor generator jams.
David is a bass player and U.C.L.A. graduate (B.A. in World Arts and Culture) who has played in his own experimental punk band Carnage Asada since 1992. He has also toured, performed and/or recorded with Class of ’77 Punk Rock alumni Alice Bag, the Deadbeats and Robert Lopez (the Zeros) AKA El Vez, the Mexican Elvis; as well as singer songwriter Lysa Flores, East LA Taiko, Sekou tha Misfit, Josh Haden (of Spain), Ollin, Gaston Light, and J. Scott Bergman, among others.
In addition, David owns and runs Wasatch Studios where he has recorded, mixed and/or mastered for bands such as: Chuck Dukowski Sextet, the Shrine, Trotsky Icepick, Exploding Flowers, Alice Bag and the Sissy Bears, Jon Wahl and the Amadans, Doctors and Engineers, YAAWN, and the Rough Kids.
